Immediate impact on performance and culture

Involve International offers tailored and flexible learning solutions that accommodate the needs of individuals and businesses in leadership and workplace communication with the following training services:

Training needs analysis / briefing
A consultation process to define the learning objectives and process requirements on individuals and groups builds the basis for developing learning solutions that exactly meet the needs of the learners, the team and the business.

Customised training design
Using proven content, the briefing is translated into a learning design that matches all requirements (e.g. regarding selection of content modules in various depths, time, workplace absence, delivery processes as below). It includes the development of training media, participant’s manuals and learning tools, case studies etc.

Flexible delivery
Involve International offers for all learning solutions the following flexible delivery options:

1- x days in-house Training Workshops
Still the number one delivery request by clients, it involves the development of skills and mindsets with underpinning knowledge and practical techniques. Involve International’s training workshops are characterised by providing a sound understanding of human behaviour and communication principles through substantiated theory presentations followed by practicing techniques and skills to improve workplace behaviour and outcomes. As described, training workshops nowadays become shorter and can include Saturdays as private sacrifice for personal development.

Refresher and follow-up workshops
One of the most significant shortfalls of training courses is that the learners are left alone when it comes to the learning transfer to the workplace. Adding just a bit to the budget, but being high in impact, short ½-day workshops help to debrief the application experiences, refresh some learning content and provide additional practical tips to implement the skills in workplace behaviour and performance.

Series of ½ day practice workshops
Due to requirements to minimise workplace absence especially for managers and senior staff, these short and sharp modules focus on practical leadership and communication topics and ideally bring learners back to workshops every 3-6 weeks to follow up and refresh the “learning mind set”. In between the workshops practical learning tools help to keep the learning process alive. If done over a longer period, it is the most efficient way for managers to continuously develop leadership and practical communication skills.

3 day residential workshops
Although due to time and budget pressures not widely used anymore and seen more as an incentive rather than hard work, for leadership and personal development it is still a good investment to get the participants out of their work environment and let them dive into a learning mode for several days. The depth of learning is still unbeatable.

Experiential learning on real or virtual projects

Learning skills “on the run” while acting in a real environment is one the most effective ways of learning, especially for practical skills like presentation, facilitation, consulting and communication skills. Involve International with its network partners has extensive experience in setting up learning projects with “real” projects where the trainers accompany the learners in practice situations, training/coaching them and debriefing the experiences continuously.

One-to-one training and coaching
A very effective way to maximise the learning progress of one particular learner. Involve International has wide experience in setting up and delivering one-to-one training and coaching assignments in nearly all training topics. Most assignments went over a longer period of time and combined experiential learning and input sessions.

User-Groups or Best Practice Workshops
Following the belief that much competence with high practical relevance is already available in the organisation, learning from each other internally is a motivating way to activate and build internal capabilities. Through sharing of knowledge, experience, challenges, solutions, tips and tricks not only learning is provided, also a culture of mutual support and continuous improvement is developed and nurtured.

Involve International uses the following delivery methods as appropriate in any learning solution:

  • Presentations using learning posters and learning expositions (minimal use of PowerPoint presentations)
  • Skills practice sessions with optional video feedback
  • Small & large group workshops
  • Games, role plays and case studies (virtual and real cases)
  • Self learning modules with guidance
  • Experiential learning on real or virtual projects incl. debriefing
  • Coaching of individuals and small groups
  • Moderation Method
